The Debrecen District Prosecutor’s Office has brought charges against a woman who caused serious injury to one of the occupants of a vehicle due to her inexperience while driving a car.
On August 16, 2019, the accused was in a nightclub with friends in Hajdúnánás in the late evening and at night, and then they intended to go home by car around 2 o’clock in the morning.
Three more passengers were in the vehicle driven by the accused, the accused and the person in the front right seat were wearing a seat belt, while the people in the back seat were not wearing their seat belts.
Driving inside Hajdúnánás on a straight road, a cat ran in front of the car, which the accused did not want to hit, so she turned to the right, then lost control of the vehicle and collided with a pole.
As a result of the collision, a victim traveling in the back seat who was not wearing his seat belt suffered bone fracture injuries and concussions that healed within eight days.
The accused’s poor driving experience and traffic offending conduct led to the accident.
The Debrecen District Prosecutor’s Office brought charges against the accused of the negligent cause of a road accident in the Hajdúböszörmény District Court. In the indictment for the prosecution, the district prosecutor’s office proposed that the district court impose a fine on the accused and prohibit her from driving road vehicles for a specified period of time without holding a trial, based on the content of the documents.
