Iconic Photo Taken in Greenland

Steffen Olsen, reseracher at the Danish Meteorology Institute posted an emblematic photo on Twitter on the 13th of June.

The photo was taken of sled dogs walking in water which once was ice in the Arctic Ocean. The exact place is the north-west of Greenland, Inglefield Bredning Fjord.

 

In the north-west of Greenland, the average temperature in June is 4.2 degrees Celsius. Last Wednesday, in Qaanaaq there was 17.3 degrees.
