Hungarian Researcher Won Wolfson Economics Prize

Wolfson Economics Prize – one of the greatest economic prizes in the UK – goes to 27-year-old Hungarian scientist.Gergely Racujja – the 27-year-old Hungarian researcher – won this year’s Wolfson Economics Prize in the UK which goes with 90 million forints.

The winner project of Gergely Racujja is dealing with the problem of British traffic infrastructure. In his project the young researcher modeled how to improve the state of the British traffic and transport infrastructure with the help of a more efficient charging system.

Wolfson Economics Prize was founded by Lord Simon Wolfson British Conservative Parish and CEO of the Next Fashion Store Network. 120 projects were sent to this year’s competition from seven countries.

Gergely Racujja was born in Budapest and he has been living in the UK since 2011. He graduated at the University College London (UCL) in 2015 and he has been working for Amey Consulting Infrastructure Services in Birmingham since last year.
